Most of it is mine — and that’s the point. Before anyone paid me to build websites, I built my own: real products, real Stripe accounts, real users. PriceScout and Bytelore aren’t portfolio filler — they’re proof I can ship something and keep it running, because my own money depends on it. Client work is now joining the shelf. It’ll be obvious which is which, because I label things honestly here.

Built to look like a 2006 social profile, because that's what he asked for — weekly flash drops, piercing aftercare, and one inbox instead of DMs scattered across three apps. A hundred and forty-seven years of ice cream made on the Yorkshire coast, still run by the same family, supplying cafés, kiosks, farm shops and vans from Filey to Scarborough. The site is built around the wholesale trade rather than the seaside cone, because the trade is what actually pays — trade price list, minimums, delivery areas and the answers to every question a new stockist rings up with, so nobody has to wait for a callback to find out if they're covered.

A dog-walking round I run in Beverley, named after the cockapoo who does the quality control. One static HTML file, no framework, no JavaScript at all — a dog walker's website has about four jobs and none of them need a build step. Fraunces, Nunito and Caveat on warm cream, deliberately nothing like this site. Insured, priced in public, terms written for the reality of holding somebody's door key.
